Kenneth Brown receives Robert Suskind and Leslie Lewinter-Suskind Pediatric Nutrition Lifetime Achievement Award

Distinguished Professor Emeritus Kenneth Brown received the “Robert Suskind and Leslie Lewinter-Suskind Pediatric Nutrition Lifetime Achievement Award” from the American Society for Nutrition at Experimental Biology 2017 in Chicago. The award recognizes a researcher whose lifetime body of work includes meaningful contributions towards childhood nutrition in health and disease globally.

The award was particularly meaningful for Prof Brown as it bears the name of his first mentor in global nutrition who introduced him to the clinical management of children with acute malnutrition and to clinical nutrition research in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Prof. Brown gave an award lecture at Experimental Biology 2017 in Chicago.
